Granite Falls Elementary

Regular school attendance is essential for academic success, personal growth, and building strong routines. At Granite Falls Elementary School, we value every day your child spends learning and growing with us. However, we also recognize that meaningful educational experiences can happen outside the classroom.

To support a well-rounded education, our school may approve up to five (5) days of excused absences each year for educational opportunities outside of school. These experiences should have clear educational value and contribute to your child's learning.

If you plan such an opportunity, please submit a request for approval in advance. Thank you for partnering with us to support your child’s education both in and out of the classroom.  (See Board Policy 4400 for additional information)
